Returning Student Scholarship

For over 70 years AAUW Elmhurst Area Branch, NFP has funded scholarships to help women pursue higher education. Meet the amazing recipients of past scholarships.

All 2025 scholarships have been awarded. The application process for 2026 scholarships opens in January 2026. Please watch this site for 2026 information.

Applicants for AAUW Elmhurst Area Branch NFP scholarships must reside in Elmhurst, Addison, Bensenville, Berkeley, Northlake, Oak Brook, Oakbrook Terrace, or Villa Park, in Illinois. Scholarships may be awarded to part-time as well as full-time students. Candidates must be 23 or older and be continuing education after completing at least 12 credit hours at an accredited community or undergraduate college/university. Candidates may already be receiving financial aid.
